Anomalous Photographs of Potential Apparitions

Raleigh, NC (2003) - Mordecai House

Photographic anomalies captured in windows are especially tricky. You are essentially capturing three images, superimposed one over the other: whatever is behind the glass, the glass itself, and whatever is in front of the glass being reflected. Whenever we capture an anomaly in a window, we always attempt to reproduce the effect in order to debunk it. Do date, we have been unable to do so with this photograph. We know the dark ring in the center of the window was a wreath.

Anomalous Photographs of Shadows

Greensboro, NC (2008) - Residential Investigation

This bedroom was the house’s main active location, with multiple apparitional sightings and voices.

The photographs captured an anomalous shadow that migrated about the room.

No reasonable explanation could be found, and attempts to replicate the shadows, by partially blocking the camera’s flash, failed to replicate these effects.

Wendell, NC (2014) - Antebellum House, ca. 1850

Flash photography in this dark corridor produced a shadow that did not blanket all surfaces. Several subsequent photographs were taken that showed the shadow gradually migrating closer to the photographer.

Another photographer and camera then captured the same shadow as in the original photograph.

There is no logical or reasonable explanation for the shadows that appeared in these photos.
